INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS
International University & Theological Seminary has an authority to issue I-20 for students from other countries. International students are subject to the admission policies of IUTS and to the regulations of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
International students applying for admission must:
Document Submission:
- Submit all required documents, including academic transcripts.
- Transcripts in a foreign language must include a certified English translation.
English Proficiency:
- Students must demonstrate English proficiency through a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80 (internet-based).
- If the required TOEFL score is not met, students must complete 9 hours of English courses with a minimum B grade during their first year.
Financial Guarantee (USCIS Form I-134):
- Proof that all expenses will be covered through one of the following:
– Sponsorship by a responsible Christian organization covering support and transportation.
– A letter from a bank showing sufficient funds for tuition, living expenses, and airfare.
– Proof of financial support from individuals or organizations covering all necessary expenses.
Study Program:
- Maintain a full course load per semester.
- Part-time employment is permitted with U.S. government approval, but it must not interfere with studies.
IUTS also recommends financial arrangements for dependents if they remain in their home country.
